Ben works closely with many colleagues in the firm's transactional department. Having graduated cum laude from Colgate University, Ben is currently an evening student at New York Law School. After graduating from college in 3 years, Yazmin started working at a luxury tourism/event management company where she learned a great deal about the tourism industry, while also learning the process of planning, coordinating and facilitating multiple luxury events. All these skills combined to ensure that the service being delivered to tourists was always top-notch. Yazmin remained in this industry, but decided to make a pivot into what she originally had studied and enjoyed during her time at GW. She previously worked at a law firm focusing on landlord/tenant matters and evictions, together with exposure to real estate transactions. Yazmin is pleased to have found her home at Katz and Matz, where she can utilize and continue to deliver stellar client service and great organizational skills that she's learned and honed over the years. She is a native Spanish speaker and in her free time enjoys working on her small side hustle and listening to music. Yazmin grew up in Connecticut and has lived in Washington, D.C., Virginia, and now happily resides in Manhattan.

Jack joins Katz & Matz with a background in real estate law through his experiences at several law firms in both New York City and the Hamptons. He pursued these opportunities after graduating from the University of Connecticut, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. Jack was a member of the UConn Law Society, where he acquired a substantial understanding of the law process by interacting with both fellow students and alumni, many of whom now participate in the field. Jack has brought his legal experience, passion for real estate, and team-oriented attitude to the Katz & Matz team. Outside of work, Jack enjoys cheering on both the New York Knicks and Mets. He looks forward to working with the firm’s clients and continuing to build professional relationships, both existing and new, with Katz & Matz.

A Miami-native, Max recently graduated with honors from NYU in three years, achieving both a B.A in art history and creative writing. In addition to his aptitude for contemporary art and fiction, Max has cultivated a wealth of knowledge in real estate law while assisting Katz & Matz during his undergraduate studies. Max prides himself on his tenacious work-ethic, his efficiency, and his unique ability to think outside of the box, and he brings all of these qualities to the Katz & Matz team. In his spare time, Max loves developing new recipes, attending art museums, watching movies, and continuing to explore New York City. He plans on attending law school in Manhattan in the fall of 2022.

Alan is a native New Yorker, originally from Brooklyn. After graduating, Alan spent many years in the travel industry working with various Rock Bands, Television and Broadway actors and performers assisting them in their travel and tours. After the tragic day of 9/11, Alan shifted his career and began working in NYC real estate as a Real Estate Paralegal. His varied and long-time experience in working with clients throughout the entire process, allows him to bring his unique perspective to K&M, it's clients, and colleagues in the industry. Alan does all that he can to ensure that the clients process of either buying or selling, is as enjoyable and goes as smoothly as possible. In his free time, Alan enjoys traveling, going to the theater and spending time with his dog, Snookie.

Originally from South Florida, Jared attended Florida State University where he graduated with degrees in History and Entrepreneurship. After graduation, Jared moved to the big city to pursue a degree in Law at Brooklyn Law School, where he graduated from in 2022. Prior to joining Katz and Matz, Jared worked at a variety of firms with backgrounds in personal injury, civil rights, and corporate law. In wanting to explore his deep interest in the real estate world, Jared obtained his real estate license and received certificates in Real Estate and Business law upon graduation. Diligent and responsive, Jared enjoys assisting purchasers and sellers throughout the entire process and works closely with Steven Matz and his team members. He loves to meet new people and is passionate about making sure every client is left with a full smile on their face. In his spare time, Jared enjoys watching football, exploring new parts of the city, and visiting friends and family.
